8 hours tour
Porto has one of the richest artistic, cultural and historical heritages in Portugal, evident in the numerous monuments and museums spread throughout the city, being internationally recognized by UNESCO with the classification of the old part of the city as a world heritage site and the election of the city of Porto as European Capital of Culture in 2001. But Porto is also a city that is discovered in a small alley or on the corner of a narrow street.
I leave here an invitation to exploration and adventure. We will start the visit by Ribeira, where we will talk about some facts as well as discover some historical buildings. We continue our visit through the old streets of Porto until we reach the old relationship chain in Porto, where we will stop to talk, among others, about a love story. After a break to taste the typical custard tarts (pastel de nata) and see their production, we’ll head to the other side of the Douro River, from where we can contemplate the city of Porto from a unique place. It’s time to have lunch in a typical Porto restaurant, where you can taste some of the best Portuguese dishes. In the afternoon, we will travel along the Douro River until we reach the sea, where we will visit the beaches of Porto. On the way back we will visit a Port wine cellar where we will finally taste some of the best wines produced in the Douro region. Come with us and spend a different day.
