I cannot recommend Pedro’s service enough! Everything exceeded my expectations! Pedro drove my sister and I from Lisbon to Porto, while stopping in Obidos and Nazare along the way. We had a great time and Pedro was the perfect mix of tour guide, photographer and friend. We wanted to spend some extra time in Nazare and Pedro was super flexible about everything. He had some really great surprises, which I won’t go into detail about so as not to spoil them. My sister and I felt so well looked after as everything about the experience was first class! We loved our time with Pedro so much that we booked a tour of Porto the following day! Pedro goes out of his way to make you feel special and is the right mix of history and stories without making you feel overwhelmed. He is the best tour guide I have ever met and my sister felt the same way! I highly recommend his services to anyone going to Portugal! I am looking forward to returning to Portugal with my husband and will definitely be contacting Pedro! He also has amazing restaurant recommendations, one of which we have been back to 3 times! Don’t hesitate to book with Pedro, for private transfers or for his Beetle tour of Porto!

Pedro is one of a kind! I originally reached out for transfer services from Porto to Lisbon (with stops at Fatima & Nazare) which I booked but also found out he was able to provide transfer services for an even longer trip, from Seville (Spain). He was so kind, informative and picked the BEST spots for lunch along the way. Our group of 6 and 6 large suitcases all fit comfortably and safely in his van. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!!

Pedro is incredible. He took us from Lisbon to Porto first, and we were lucky enough to get a day in Porto with him after. We were also lucky that he had many different vehicles, we were able to switch into a more comfortable car due to extreme winds & possible rain. So thankful for Pedro and his incredible knowledge, we can’t wait for our next trip with him! You can’t go to Portugal without him!

My partner and I did the tour in Maggiolino with Pedro in August 2024: magnificent experience, in a beautiful city such as Porto, with a fascinating and charismatic car such as the VW Maggiolino cabriolet (kept to perfection) and above all with a kind and expert guide, able to make the tour live the best. We took a lot of photos and made beautiful videos. Pedro took us to the most beautiful places in the city and even in the lesser known places that were worth seeing, taking beautiful and evocative photos himself. He told us the story of what we saw and often stopped to let us down with him for some time and better appreciate the place up close. Many people looked at us while we were in the VW, fascinated and intrigued: we felt a little like stars on vacation! The experience is wonderful, worth all the money spent and much more, we absolutely recommend it to those who are on vacation in Porto!

Transfers and Tour – excellent service
Second time we have used Pedro – Peters Beetle. Excellent service yet again. Airport transfer to Hotel in the valley and then a return transfer to Porto including a wine taste and a lunch at a restaurant of his suggestion (superb food). Could not fault Pedro. He has a fleet of vehicles suitable that give a flexibility and was very competitively priced. Professional, polite and punctual at all times. Could not fault him.

We were collected eary and set off in Pedros open top beetle for a fab tour of Porto. We visited the seafront, secret viewpoints, learnt huge amounts about the city. Very much worth the cost. The tour takes 2 1/2 hours, with water and ice cream stops:) we have great fun.

Pedro is a rare gem you can find in tourism industry! He is polite, profession, knowlegable but the most important he is a very kind and a warm person. From the booking to the end, Pedro was always patience and explained everything in details without making you feel you asked too much. We had him to do the tours in Porto for few days and at the very end we feel like we become his family! With the quality of the tours, time and prices, you will not regret! We will definitely visit him if and when we will visit Portugal again.

L’après-midi avec Pedro était parfaite même si le temps n’était pas de la partie . Nous avons visité plein de choses, avons même fait des découvertes gustatives, et cerise sur le gâteau il s’est proposé de nous réserver notre restaurant pour la soirée. Je recommande vivement ce tour en Coccinelle !

We had a really lovely time going on a tour of Porto with Rui. He’s resident and very passionate about Porto with a lot of very sweet stories about all the special little pockets of Porto. Rui gave us some great suggestions on Port tasting locations, restaurants and other fun things to do during our stay. My husband and I were travelling with our 6 month old baby and Rui was kind enough to find an infant car seat for us to tour around in his convertible Beetle which was fabulous because it was a gorgeous sunny day. Thanks to Rui, our trip to Porto very memorable and we look forward to visiting again one day perhaps when our daughter is grown. Highly recommend this exoeteince to anyone visiting Porto on a short or long stay.
